A recent AVG and Avast antivirus update is preventing DisplayFusion 9.9 from launching on some systems.
If you're running into this issue, please update to the latest DisplayFusion 10.0 Beta.

I've managed to break Window Snapping completely

Running DF Pro 3.4.1 and I seem to have broken window snapping completely. I only want it to monitor edges, and my settings are attached.

Reading through the forum I also saw mention to check the settings for visual effects, and I can confirm everything is ticked.

I've rebooted just in case, so any suggestion of where else to check would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Nige

If you re-enable snapping to other application windows, will it snap to other windows, but still not the monitor edges?

Well it does, sort of. Perhaps it is just me not understanding what I should be seeing.

With both options ticked, my windows snap to the monitor edge if I move them, but not if I resize them by dragging the borders or corners. Is this expected behaviour ?

Just to test, I unticked application window snapping and I see exactly the same behaviour, so I presume when I was testing previously is was just the snap on resize that I was not seeing. We can presume the snap on move has always worked.

Thanks,

Nige

Ah ok. The Window Snapping doesn't currently snap on resizing a window. We are planning to add it in the future, so I've added your vote to the request :)

Thanks!
