I assume this isn't going to be only PBI Desktop but thats the only one I've found.

I'm on Windows 10 pro 1903 with DF Pro 9.6.1.

This morning I updated Power BI Desktop to the latest version and the key combinations for window management no longer work on this one product.

I installed the AMD64 version (https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=58494) not the store app. I believe that this was a minor update but I wasn't paying that much attention to be honest.

They key combinations are attached to the Window Move/Size functions for the 4x (bottom/top/left/right) Corner and 50% and 2x Left / Right Side.
All are mapped with CTRL + SHIFT + one of Q/W/A/S/Z/X.

All these functions work fine on any other applicaiton except PBI. In PBI there is no effect.

I have also tried enabling the title bar toggle button and it displays but :
i. its ugly, displays over the title bar area where my Office365 nameand icon is
ii. it still doesn't work to move the window

All other microsoft office suite applications work as expected.

I don't have the time uninstall / reinstall the older version to test with but I do have a copy of the installer if you'd like to have a look to compare it.

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!
