If you head to C:\Users\(YourUser)\AppData\Local\CrashDumps, is there anything listed for DisplayFusion? If so, could you send over the latest file?
I have as many files as you want! 😁
Attacheds you can see the lasdt one
It's also messing with the Windows priority. If I click on a windows in the back it's not coming in foregroung but I can still use it.
It's driving me crazy. Is it possible to rollback to the previous version?
It looks like that's a dump from explorer.exe, are they any from DisplayFusion you could send over?
You can grab the last few betas from this page, running the installer directly overtop of your current install will roll back while maintaining your settings: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Nope, they're all from Explorer

It looks like the crash is still pointing to NCContextMenu.dll, was that app completely disabled?
I close NextCloud as soon as I turn on the PC, but DF keeps crashing. It's sooo annoying.
It crashes almost every time I open a new folder.
I'm on 11.0 Beta 5
Pleeeeeeease help!
Weird, it's not coming from one of the betas then, and if it's happening when opening File Explorer from the Windows taskbar it might not be from DisplayFusion at all. If you exit DisplayFusion, does the issue persist?
DF Pro 11.0(beta11) (Win11 24H2 [26100.2454]) also crashes regularly, several times a day.
Sometimes every 10 minutes, but I don't know what triggers it.
However, only the explorer.exe dumps are visible in the CrashDumps folder.
I started using a small application (Restart On Crash) that automatically restarts the DF when it crashes. Without this app I quickly find myself with disappearing taskbars on monitors 2 and 3.
If it's not creating a crash dump file it's likely not crashing entirely. When the taskbars disappear, if you open Task Manager > Details, do you see the DisplayFusion process running still?

Yes it's still running...looks like 3 processes: DisplayFusion Hook App,DisplayFusion Hook App (32 bit) and DisplayFusion Service
Thanks for the reply, I have set it to L1 and I am waiting for the next incident.
BTW, I just have installed the newest offered version (Beta 12), which may have fixed it.
I believe I have some apps that provoke DF to crash if they run together.
You will hear about me if I have anything to send you.

Could you send me over a debug log? Here are the steps:
On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
Reply with the file attached
Disable debug logging after sending the log
Attached is the log. DisplayFusion crashed 12/06/2024 @ 11:11AM
Open the DisplayFusion Settings window > Troubleshooting tab. Under the "Advanced" dropdown, select "Enable Memory Profiling"
Agree to the UAC prompt to start the memory profiling tool
Allow DisplayFusion to restart, it may take a while to fully launch while in this mode
Use DisplayFusion normally, once the crash happens, exit DisplayFusion in task manager
An Explorer window will appear showing a DMW file
Send over the DMW file
Restart DisplayFusion to disable the memory profiling tool
Sorry I just saw this message. Since I've installed v11 (12/12) I have had no crashes. If it does start crashing again I will follow up with these instructions. Thanks so much for getting this resolved....you don't realize how much you depend on software until you can't use it.
