When DP is running a cFosspeed's gadget which displays stats is flickering like crazy from going in and out of focus. Quitting DP reduces the flicker to an occasional one.
Another problem is mousefocus. When DP is running often clicking on for example a dropdown box in browser makes it fail due (i guess) to focus loss.Quitting DP resolves the problem.
Still on 7 x64 ofcourse. Not running w8 crap.
Does it only steal focus when the wallpaper is changing? Or all the time?

good question, didn't think to try that. Well it does so when the deskscapes background is running displaying a dream. When i pause the dream it stops. When itchanges walllpaper (i've got it on 2 minutes random) nothing much different happens.
Yep, tried several times, focus stealing when dream is active, not when inactive

Ok, thanks! I can't seem to reproduce the issue here. Does it only happen on a specific page? If so, what site can you reproduce it with, and which web browser are you using?

I'll do some testing with different browsers, normally i use Opera and never had issues before with DP/Mouse/Deskscapes. It's not a specific page that does it, also when on blank page choosing form a menu, like bookmarks sometimes takes several clicks to get the dropdown. Quitting DP renders it normal again, so imho there is some link.
It came up a while ago but i never thought to look at DP so i can't tell at which stage it set in. From my (admittedly porous) memory i'd say over a month ago.
I still haven't been able to reproduce this here, even with Opera. Could you try rolling back to DisplayFusion 5.0.1 to see if the issue goes away? If it does, I'll post the installers for all of the 5.1 Beta versions up to now, so that we can hopefully narrow it down to a change in a specific version.

Yep, that works normally. No flickering of the gadget
Ok, here's a ZIP file with the betas in it. Note that 5.0.1 and 5.1 B6 were actually the same build, so I only included 5.1 B7-B11.

Beta 7 already messes up cursor focus. For example, to select a line of text if i click and hold down sometimes nothing happens till i drag about halfway and it suddenly catches, or it starts off good but quits in the middle. 5.01 works normally.

Yep. I'm trying this out on an amd phenom x6 1100 with 12 gb ram, Radeon HD 6970 so resources can't be an issue.
Ok, we released Beta 13 on Friday, and we made a ton of changes to the mouse hooks. Could you see if this issue still happens in Beta 13?
If it does, could you try disabling the Application Hooks in the Advanced Settings, then restart, and let me know if it still occurs?
