Both beta 2 and beta 3 seem to have broken the functionality for DF to change the windows lock screen background. I can still change it with windows settings, but it does not change automatically with my desktop wallpaper.

Which version of Windows? I'll give this a good test here to see what I can find out.

Thanks!

Ha, that would have been helpful.

Win 10 enterprise.

Thanks for the help. This is at least the 2nd time I've contacted support for DF and I've never seen software with more helpful and responsive customer support. You guys are awesome.

Thanks! That's great to hear! If you try to set the Lock Screen background manually with the Windows Settings instead of DisplayFusion, does it work?

Yes. I am able to change the lock screen background through the Windows settings as normal.

Ok, excellent! Could you send me a debug log from DisplayFusion? Here are the steps:
  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Try to apply the Windows Lock Screen image from within DisplayFusion
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Windows 10 x64 build 15063.413 (v1703)
DF Pro 9 beta 3 (no installer)

This is issue still exits.

DF used to change background at login screen in the past, now it doesn't and I'm 80% sure it's after installing DF v9 beta 1 (although I noticed the issue when DF beta 3 was already used for a while)

P.S.
My lock screen is disabled via registry

Code

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Personalization]
"NoLockScreen"=dword:00000001

and because of that I'm unable change background image via Windows' built-in settings, however it didn't affect DF ability change lock screen background in the past.

@Vano: I've merged your post into a different topic. Your issue is specific to 9.0 B1 and up, different than the other fellow's issue :)

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
