Hi all,

I'm trying to lock the screen resolution to prevent users from changing it. I have a monitor profile setup, with 1 main monitor, and monitor 2 & 3 mirrored (to a monitor & projector).

I've renamed c:\windows\system32\displayswitch.exe, this is to prevent users from doing Windows+P shortcut keys.

Is there a way to prevent users from changing screen resolutions once the monitor profile is loaded?

All computers are Windows 10 LTSB, using the add-on AMD card for monitor 1, and on-board VGA + DisplayPort for screen 2 & projector.

I work in a school, so looking to further control the teacher computers.

Thanks.

I think I may have already responded to your email but I'll post the solution here as well in case anyone else is looking for the same thing. The best thing to do would be to disable access to the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration window and Monitor Profiles. You can do this with our custom group policy (ADMX) templates or just by creating the necessary registry values. Please see this page for more details: https://www.displayfusion.com/KB/AdminSettings/

Hope that helps!
