Occasionally my Microsoft Lync icon on the DF taskbar will start flashing, even though there are no alerts. There's really no rhyme or reason as to when it happens.

I'm 90% sure this is related to my option to force all Lync windows to my second monitor. Does this soudn familiar to anyone?

Did this only start happening with the most recent betas? If so, we might have figured out the cause, and we'll hopefully have it fixed up for 4.0 Beta 12 :)

Pretty sure it's only recent, yeah. I saw the other post that sounds related, so I'll keep a close eye on things when b12 comes out.

Just wanted to check, we've released Beta 12. Are you still running into the issue with the Lync taskbar button flashing randomly?

So this is happening with the latest version again. Not as often, but still once in a while.

Sorry for the way late reply on this. I was trying to repro it here, got stumped, and then lost track of it. Could you send me a debug log the next time this happens?
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • The next time it occurs, note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log
