Hi everyone.

I have the current monitor configuration (attached to this thread). Its a 49" Main Ultrawide sandwiched in between two monitors in portrait orientation.

The biggest problem I have with my main ultrawide is with switching color profiles between work and gaming. The problem is, when I switch, the monitor essentially turns off and turns back on (immediately). As a result, my computer thinks that my monitor is disconnected for a brief moment and all the applications I was working on ON my main ultrawide get pushed to the portrait monitors on the sides.

This is incredibly frustrating.

Can I use DisplayFusion to make it such that certain applications MUST stay on specific monitors and cannot be moved to another monitor? This would be a Godsend.

Thank you all.

EX. TradingView should only ever be on my main monitor. WhatsApp should ever be on my right portrait monitor. Discord should ONLY be on my left portrait monitor. Hope this makes sense!

There isn't a way to prevent that from happening, but this guide here should be able to help you out, as it would have the same effect: https://www.displayfusion.com/HelpGuide/AutomaticallySavingAndRestoringWindowPositionsOnDockUndock/

Hope that helps!
