I seem to be having a memory leak issue.
I have disabled features i don't use.

From my digging it seems to occur when i have changing background wallpaper profile for 3 monitors.
I have 2 monitor profiles one for 2 monitors enabled and the other with 3 monitors enabled.

The memory leak issue appears to occur when moving back and forth between the 2 and 3 monitor profiles but leaving the wallpaper profile setup for 3 monitors. it takes about 12 hours before the memory leak after the changeovers starts to affect the system performance.
I am wondering if when i turn on the 3 monitor profile if it starts to generate the 3 wallpapers and then when i move back to the 2 monitor profile if for some reason the application thinks it still needs to generate wallpapers for 3 monitors and then gets confused.

I Could not find anything in the log that seemed relevant but it was rolling over very quickly.

The number of monitors shouldn't make a difference, as DisplayFusion will only generate the wallpaper image for the number of monitors that are actually connected, regardless of how it's setup in the configuration. Would you be able to attach a copy of your troubleshooting info?
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Thanks! Everything looks ok there. Would you be able to send over a debug log?
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Let DisplayFusion run for a few minutes
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

So this stopped happening when i turned off my wallpaper changing.
I guess i have too many images for it to go though. (about 5000)
I also found on my 3rd screen id ticked keep images in order.

Ok, interesting! If you enable the wallpaper changing again, what's the memory usage of DisplayFusion.exe after the first change, and how high does it get after many changes?
