Hello
I'm having memory leak problem starting from version 7.3.0. Update to beta version didn't resolve this issue.
When I have video playing in browser (Firefox) with Flash or HTML5 player (mostly streams), memory usage is starting to increase rapidly with 0.5 to 2 MB per second. When memory usage is up to 2 GB, icons on second monitor disappear and everything becomes laggy.
Before branch 7.3 this problem wasn't happening.
Operating system - Windows 7 Ultimate.

Thanks for letting us know about this! We'll test it out here to see what we can find out.

I haven't been able to reproduce this here yet. Could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info?
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Settings aren't opening on 2GB memory usage, but I caught it on 1GB memory usage. Hope it works.

Thanks! I'm wondering if this has something to do with the YandexDisk application loading it's DLL into DisplayFusion. I've run into similar trouble with ownCloud, which has a similar setup.

I'll do some testing with this to see what I can find out.

Thanks, Keith!

Not sure if YandexDisk is a problem. Will try to make troubleshooting report while this problem is not appearing, so we could compare running apps. Maybe it will help

I've just setup YandexDisk on a test machine here, so we'll see if it makes any difference at all :)

Thanks! So there are times where the memory doesn't leak at all? Is there any difference in what you're doing on the computer between when it leaks and doesn't leak? I've tested with watching videos in Chrome. I'm going to also test Firefox now as well.

Yes, sometimes it doesn't leak.
Well, I guess I should mention that I'm not the only one who is using PC.
For example, my mother using PC, but as far as I know she mostly using IE (11) and AverMedia card application.
Today I came home and Display Fusion was using 2GB RAM (no icons in tray), I restarted DF again and now it is using about 60MB for about 3 hours, while I have many opened apps (attached troubleshooting just in case).

Ok, thanks! Does it maybe only leak memory when the workstation is locked?

No, I'm not locking this workstation, so it is definetly not the cause of memory leak
