Hi,

This is my first post for the product and I love it...except for a few nuisances. I have multi-monitor taskbar enabled and when I drag my mouse all the way to the corner of the start menu.

I would sometimes invoke the metro UI start menu instead of start8.
  • This occurs all the time if I drag my mouse to the bottom left most corner of the window and you can see the windows icon darken.
  • Once the windows icon darkens and as long as my mouse hovers over the windows icon, then it will consistently bring up the Metro UI start menu

  • I only want to use the start8 start menu and would like to know if there is a way to disable this from happening at all. The steps above are reproducible on all screens except the main monitor (unless you were able to bring up the metro UI start menu and your next click was the main monitor start button) but it is easiest on my left most monitor with the key on the bottom left.

My second nuisance is the fact that when I play a full screen video (i.e. youtube) the taskbar will not hover over the video if I click on another window/program, but once I click on empty desktop space then the taskbar will appear over the video. I have already disabled the "show taskbar in front of full screen applications when they lose focus" in the taskbar settings.

Is there a way to fix these issues?

For some reason, the Windows hot corners like to force themselves to the top, even though we're setting the taskbar as topmost. We haven't found a way around it, but it is still on our list to fix up.

Regarding the taskbar over the full screen videos, is this happening on your primary monitor (the one with the Windows taskbar), or one of the secondary ones?

The full screen issue only occurs on my primary monitor (my center one in this case).

Ok, that makes sense. Unfortunately DisplayFusion can't force the Windows taskbar to be on top of full screen videos.

    Sorry!
