Hello DisplayFusion Team,

I use the Tasks feature with Office 365/Outlook Online. When I click on "Open in Outlook" the new browser tab is open somewhere opened where it cannot be accessed:

- When Outlook Tasks are running on my laptop monitor the popup opens as expected (2nd monitor is still connected)
- When Outlook Tasks are running on my 2nd monitor, the very popup is opened, however I cannot access it (even not with SHIFT+TAB).

I tested it with both Microsoft Edge Development & Chrome and the issues occurs with both browsers.

Please find screenshots and the log file attached.

Does the issue still occur when you exit DisplayFusion?

Hello Team,

It only occurs when DisplayFusion is running. Once switched off it works fine.

Kind regards, Tilman

Ok, strange! I didn't see anything in the DisplayFusion troubleshooting info that would be purposely moving that window. Could you capture a debug log for this issue?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Hello Keith,

This is super strange. Not it works. As my laptop is broken I have a rental one and there it works. Once I'll get my own back I test it again and let you know.

Kind regards,
Tilman
