A recent AVG and Avast antivirus update is preventing DisplayFusion 9.9 from launching on some systems.
If you're running into this issue, please update to the latest DisplayFusion 10.0 Beta.

Minor bug. When updating, it seems a new desktop icon is created even if one exists.

When updating, it seems a new desktop icon is created even if one exists.

This may be because I renamed mine to include a space between Display and Fusion but I'm not sure.

This is a very minor bug but I think if the program is updating, its safe to assume any shortcuts the user desired already exist.

Thanks again for a great app and continuing to keep it updated.

The installer remembers the Desktop Icon setting from the last manual installation, and creates it every time it updates if needed. There's no way around that unfortunately, but if you download the installer, manually run it, and deselect the Desktop Icon option, it won't create it during future updates.

Thanks!
