Seems that, at least as of 3.1.8, titlebar buttons are applied to windows that are too narrow to accommodate them. Screenshot attached. :)

I don't know if Jon will add an exception for this behavior, however you can yourself using the relatively new compatibility feature. It's in settings, check it out.

Thanks, but the Compatibility tab in the DF settings only appears to appear to allow removal of TB buttons from specific applications, so (unless I'm completely misunderstanding what you meant?) that wouldn't be particularly useful in this case... the issue I described happens with *any* window if you resize it down too far to accommodate the width of the titlebar buttons, so adding application-specific exceptions doesn't really help.

IMHO if the window is too narrow, DF probably shouldn't draw the TB buttons at all (or, at least, it should probably do something other than drawing them an inch out to the left of the window. ;) )

All I meant was the offset, I personally have mine changed for Firefox to make the buttons more consecutive. Jon will stop by and tell of his plans to fix this I am sure.

I do plan to fix this. :) Look for it to be fixed in the first public beta.

Hey Jon

on this "Fixed: TitleBar Buttons are no longer added to windows that are too narrow", are the Titlebar Buttons (App size) adjustable?
On some of my Apps, Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player, when they open they are small, but not so small that my TitleBar Buttons would fit on the previous version.

I guess it depends on what you would consider "fitting". :) I decided to leave a bit of a buffer for the window title, but I'll reduce this gap for the next beta to try and squeeze the buttons in.
