Just picked up a Ultra-wide OLED Monitor that has built in hardware pixel shifting to avoid burn-in. I like to have a saved monitor profile that sections the screen off into certain sections, depending on what I am working on.

Anyway, saved profiles no longer work, and with every successive pixel shift, the task bar location menu is postioned incorrectly because the position has moved.

Are their any plans in Display Fusion to acount for pixel shifting in the Monitor Profiles and other possible conflicts due to pixel shifting?

Thanks!

Could you send me two copies of your troubleshooting info, one before and one after the pixel shift? Here are the steps:

  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks for the response. It seems I have solved the problem. I had not installed the displayed driver for the monitor. Once I did that, the issue has gone away and it seems to be working now.

I will try it over the next few to days to make certain, I have not missed an issue.

Ok, can confirm, seems to be fixed. Thank you. If something else comes up, I will post in another thread.

Thank you!
