I have a laptop dock with two external monitors attached. DisplayFusion works fine the majority of the time, however when i switch from my main dock to a dock at another location with different sized monitors, the screen will flash for minutes and sometimes the resolution settings will get wiped all together requiring a reboot to fix the errors. I've tried to set up monitor profiles, but it errors when applying the different ones. If I could apply the profile of the dock I'm going to connect to when shutting down, then it would connect and know which display settings to use. Is this a known issue, or do you have any suggestions?

Unfortunately, Monitor Profiles cannot be set when the monitors are not connected, since DisplayFusion doesn't have access to the available settings for the monitors that are not connected.

We've found the monitor detection with different setups to be much better in Windows 7 than in previous versions of Windows, so if you're note already running Windows 7, that might be an option as well. I regularly use my laptop with external monitors at work and at home, and it always seems to remember the layouts without any issues.

Thanks!
