Hello,

I have been encountering a rather frustrating problem. I'm using a Lenovo T430s running Windows 7 and DisplayFusion Pro v4.3 with a docking station, with two external monitors connected - an HP LP2065 (connected via single link DVI) in portrait mode and a Samsung SyncMaster 305T, which requires dual link DVI to achieve its full resolution of 2560x1600. The laptop and docking station both do not have dual link DVI outputs, but they do have DisplayPort outputs, so I'm using one of these with an active DisplayPort > dual link DVI adapter.

The first few times that I ran through a work/shutdown/reboot cycle, my resolution and taskbar settings were recalled, and on bootup the computer displayed at full resolution on the large monitor. Then I disconnected the laptop from the docking station and worked from home a couple of times. Since then, whenever I boot up the machine, it reverts to 1280x760 on the large monitor and loses the taskbar settings for that monitor only. The smaller monitor's settings persist.

Before I start doing the uninstall/reinstall dance, does anyone have any recommendations about this situation?

Thank you,

Nate

Hi Nate, the only thing I can suggest is disabling DisplayFusion from starting up with Windows (Settings > Options tab), and then rebooting to see if the issue still occurs. DisplayFusion doesn't set any screen resolution settings on startup, so it shouldn't be causing this issue, but it would be good to confirm :)

Thanks!
