Mouse left clicks unexpectedly WHEN dragging windows around by the title bar and it drops the window I'm dragging around. Sometimes it happens. Sometimes it doesn't.

Sometimes my windows snap to the virtual monitors, sometimes they don't. I've played with some settings and I can't get snapping right and I can't get the mouse to stop clicking unexpectedly. It doesn't matter where I grab the title bar from and it doesn't matter if I disable title bar buttons from being in the way.

I've seen it happen about 30 times now in 2 days and I know it is single left moust button clicking because If I'm moving fast enough, it draws a selection box on the desktop as if you were trying to select multiple files at once.
I have noticed that if I slow down when dragging, it reduces the issue, but still does it sometimes and slowing down isn't a long term solution.

Any advice is appreciated. I couldn't find this problem anywhere else.

Windows 11.

If you exit DisplayFusion does the issue still happen?

Thanks Owen. I feel I should have tried that already. I made an assumption and didn't verify that. I'm currently testing. If I figure anything out, I'll update.

I figured it out. It was not DisplayFusion. It was my mouse.

Yeah, that tracks — even expensive Logitech Lightspeed mice (like G Pro Wireless, G502 Lightspeed, etc.) are notorious for double-click and phantom click issues, especially after moderate use.

Cause:
Logitech often uses Omron switches, which are prone to bouncing/failure over time.

Some models are known to glitch even within a year.

Thanks
