Hi
I've been using DF for quite a while now and I was quite delighted about the added custom script feature!
Is it possible to make a script so that I can move (either via hotkey or on an application launch) to move all my browser windows to another monitor?

It should be possible! Which browser do you use?

I use the latest Opera.

To be exact, I want to move Opera to a specific Monitor when I open Final Fantasy XIV on my primary monitor.

Ok, thanks! I'll let you know as soon as we've got a sample script to try out.

Hi! I made a script that should do what you need. Just replace the variables at the beginning of the script to the path to your Opera executable, and the ID of the monitor you would like the windows to be moved to.

Hope this works for you! :)

Awesome! It works! Thanks a lot!

Is it possible to implement a check like

IF I start FinalFantasyXIV.exe
THEN move Opera away

and IF I close it
THEN move Opera back
?

That shouldn't be a problem at all!

I've attached a script that should do what you need. There's just one more variable to edit at the beginning of the script which you should replace with the path to FinalFantasyXIV.exe on your system. I also recommend using this script with a Window Location Rule for FinalFantasyXIV.exe. That way it will be triggered automatically when you start the game.

Enjoy! :)
