I have a 75hz IPS monitor and a 60hz 4k dsiplay, each are having their own audio I´m using the "Move windows to cursor monitor trigger" cause sometimes I launch my games with my gamepad to the TV while I´m laying down on my bed, sometimes with the mouse to the monitor if I´m on my chair, but in order to change where the audio is coming from I´m using monitor profiles, the thing is kind of annoying to stand up and change it which is the easiest way I have found to set it up.
Is there any way I can open and display an application from the monitor where is being launched with its own audio?

To clarify, are you wanting to have the Trigger move the game to the current monitor, and then also set the audio device to the output that's for that monitor? If so, could you tell me the names of the audio devices (exactly as shown in the DisplayFusion tray menu), and which monitor ID they belong to?

We should be able to write a scripted function that will detect which monitor the game is on, and set it to the correct audio device. The only catch is that it may not work. Some games don't appreciate the audio device being changed after they've already been launched :)

The Audio devices are "Samsung (NVIDIA High Definition Audio)" and "Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio)"

"LG MP59G(DP) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060" for "Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio)"

Sorry, one more thing. Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Ok, try importing the attached Scripted Function and adding it to your trigger rule.

Hopefully that works for you!

How should I add it to the trigger rule?

On the Settings > Functions tab, click Scripted Function > Import Scripted. Choose the attached file and then apply the settings. Then in your rule that you currently have setup on the Settings > Triggers tab, click Add > Run Function and choose the new scripted function from the list.

Hope that helps!
