Hi,

I use my TV as a monitor to watch Youtube, Netflix videos and video files with Media Player Classic and VLC media player. The TV has a greater resolution than my PC monitor (1920x1080 vs 1600x900). When I try to move full screen video windows from PC to TV the video won't scale up to fill the whole screen. If I move the video in a windowed mode to the TV screen and toggle full screen there it works fine but the extra step is a bit annoying.

Is there any way to move full screen videos properly? The PC and TV have an HDMI connection which goes through a Yamaha RXV AV receiver.

A couple of pics to illustrate. TV is left and PC monitor right.

Full screen videos set their size when they're full screened, and don't re-detect the screen size if they're moved by DisplayFusion, because they don't expect to be moved. We're hoping to add a feature in the future that will allow you to run multiple operations from a hotkey, so then you could have a hotkey that would restore the window, move it, then full screen it.

We'll be sure to let you know when that's available :)

Thanks!

Ok, in the latest version of DisplayFusion, you can download scripted functions, or make your own. We've put a sample one in there for you, called "Move Window and Go Fullscreen." Just click 'Download Scripted' on the Settings > Functions tab, then double-click that script to download it. Give it a hotkey and you should be all set :)

Thanks!
