Hello,
I would like to request a feature for DisplayFusion vertical taskbars.
When using a portrait monitor with a vertical taskbar, the notification area (system tray) displays all icons in a single vertical column. This can consume a significant amount of space, even when the taskbar is wide enough to accommodate multiple icons per row.
It would be useful if DisplayFusion could optionally arrange system tray icons in multiple columns when sufficient width is available.
Example:
[WiFi] [Volume]
[VPN ] [Steam ]
[Teams] [OneDrive]
Benefits:
* Better use of available space on portrait displays
* Reduced taskbar height occupied by tray icons
* Improved visibility of notification icons
* More flexibility for users of vertical taskbars
Possible implementation ideas:
* Automatic wrapping based on taskbar width
* User-configurable maximum number of columns
* Optional setting enabled only for vertical taskbars
Thank you for considering this enhancement.
This is currently on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to it. We'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in the future.
Thanks!
