Hi,
I have a Dell Ultrawide and another Dell monitor, I have split my Dell ultrawide in two monitors(1.1 & 1.2) and another Dell Monitor is kind of like my third.
I have two issues and not sure whwther it is related,
1. DisplayFusion taskbar is not showing or enabled on Primary monitor(1.1) but is enabled on (1.2)
2. Taskbars disappears when I unlock monitors on 1.1 & 1.2. It comes back after some time on 1.2 but not on 1.1.
Possible workaround:
1. I have to close some applications on 1.1 and the taskbar reloads or comes back on 1.1. This works only few times.

Hello,

1) We currently don't support replacing the primary Windows taskbar with a DisplayFusion taskbar, but we do have this open as a feature request. Would you like me to add your vote to it so we can let you know if we have any news on it going forward?

2) Can you try updating to our latest beta and see if the issue persists there? Here's the link: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!

Can you add my vote to replace primary Taskbar with DF Taskbar.

I tried the beta version and unfortunately the issue still exists. Taskbar still disappears when I unlock my PC.

It looks like the Windows taskbar is hung for some reason. If you click Yes on that prompt to restart Explorer, does that fix it up?

It doesn't and this happens every time I unlock my PC. I just reinstalled a fresh copy of windows.

Could you send over a debug log for this issue?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!
