I was messing around with the wallpaper settings. My NASA picture of the day didn't seem to be changing regularly as I expect it.
Something appears to have changed in the settings. It is now asking for my NASA API key... that's easy enough to get but I didn't have to do that before: and there is no obvious place to put an API key...
Lastly I used to be able to put in criteria to search for - eg 'galaxy' - and I would just get images that include galaxies. This option does not now seem to be available. I could as well 'download' a whole bunch of such images but that doesn't seem to be available now either...
Am I missing something?
Thanks Richard

We added the API directly into DisplayFusion in the newest version. There's a link under the "API Key" box to sign up for your key, it should direct you here: https://api.nasa.gov/#signUp

Yes, I get the api key easily. But what do I do with it? And how do I now put the filters in to direct the types of images chosen from the NASA archive? It doesn't seem to be available now...

Once you have your key you can toss it in the "API Key" box, and then you should be able to search. Their API doesn't support filtering unfortunately.

That is a bit too bad - albeit not a disaster. There are plenty of images on the NASA site that really make ugly wallpaper! Selecting galaxies or nebulas or whatever gave some quite nice ones.
