I'm running Windows 7, with my taskbars set to auto-hide. I've noticed when the native start menu is opened from the Start button on a DF taskbar, the native taskbar appears and remains visible the entire time the start menu is open. Just a thought - what about resizing it to 1px high and leaving it at the bottom of the screen before opening and moving the start menu, then restoring the size after the start menu closes?

Resizing the Windows Taskbar could work, but there could be other side effects (like the taskbar's clip regions getting reset, or redraw issues). We can certainly look at it in the future, but we have a long list of short-term things we'd like to get done, so no promises. :)

If I'm bored one night, I may play around with it. :)
