with LastActiveClick, clicking the group icon for multiple Excel workbooks doesn't change to the next workbook.

Just tested with Excel 2010 and it seems to work for me. Which version of Excel are you using?

Thanks!

I am running Excel 2010 from Office Professional Plus 2010 v14.0.6106.5005 (32-bit).

I tried again with a couple of more spreadsheets, maximized and unmaximized. Still does not work.

Ok, could you send me the Troubleshooting info? Perhaps there's an issue with some specific taskbar settings, so I'd like to set mine up the same way you have yours.

Thanks!

Got it, thanks! I'll test it out and post an update as soon as I can.

I figured out what my mistake was. I was testing with multiple instances of Excel, not one instance with multiple work books. I can definitely reproduce the issue now, but one thing I noticed is that if I double click the Excel taskbar button, it will switch to the next workbook. Hopefully that will work for now until we can fix it up proper :)

Thanks!

Unfortunately not fixed in 3.5 Beta 3 or 2, but different behavior:

In 3.5 Beta 3, clicking would bring up first workbook then do nothing or minimize Excel. Unfortunately had to remove due to IE bug.

In 3.5 Beta 2, only one Excel workgroup icon is moving to the DF taskbar, the others are still on the Win7 taskbar, so can't test clicking.
Update: double checking, the Excel icon is on both taskbars, with all workbooks on Win7, top workbook on DF.

We haven't fixed up the clicking to rotate through open Excel workbooks yet, but the other bug where the icons were on the wrong taskbar should be all fixed up in Beta 4 (released this afternoon).

Thanks!

Excellent! The other issue with LastActiveClick is still on our list as well, so I'll be sure to post an update when we have a fix for that.

Thanks!
