Hi, I built a new PC with a giant Monitor 40" 5120x2160. Its main purpose is to work with multiple windows at the same time. The possibilities of Windows and the native Monitor Software (Dell Display Manager) are quite limited, so I searched for alternatives and found DisplayFusion.

And now I'm completely overwhelmed and somewhat lost because of the sheer amount of functions and I have Questions 🫣

I tried to split the monitor to 10 virtual Monitors, each 1024x1080. That worked quite well, but I wanted to remove the Taskbar of all but the first vMonitor and that didn't work well, as I lost the functioning of for example maximizing to a vMonitor. I used the setting where I split the Monitor - there I set to should have only one Taskbar.

Is it possible to remove the taskbars of the additional vMonitors at all?
As this is crucial for me, I'll wait until I know it, to ask further questions - I also guess I can find out most things by my own, but this one makes me headaches.

hoping for positive response and thanks in advance

If you right click an empty spot on the taskbars you want disabled, you can head to Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Position > Disabled, and it will disable them per monitor split.

Hope that helps!
