Hi.

I have Display Fusion set to automatically change my wallpaper. When it does this, it correctly formats the wallpaper and sets it and it looks great! However, it changes Windows internal wallpaper settings to tiled.

Normally this wouldn't be a problem because Display Fusion has formatted the picture correctly to look perfect on my screen. However I use Windows 8's profile sync across multiple machines. This means that the new wallpaper will synchronise across to my other machine which has a bigger monitor and it will be tiled instead of filled.

I know I can just turn off the profile sync. I already have Display Fusion installed on my machines so I could set the other machine to rotate the wallpapers. I don't want to though. I like having the same wallpaper on each machine that I'm working on.

Does anybody know a way to make Windows internal wallpaper settings keep to Fill instead of reverting to Tile whenever Display Fusion changed the wallpaper? Or tell Display Fusion to stop changing Windows internal setting to tiled?

Thanks
Gavin

It's not currently possible to force DisplayFusion to use the Fill mode instead of Tile, but I'll look into this further to see if it can be changed without breaking anything.

I'll keep you posted as soon as we have more news.

Thanks!

Ok, so it looks like it needs to be set to Tiled, in order to force the generated wallpaper over the monitor bounds. (Our generated image is one giant combined image)

We are planning to look into whether or not we can set the wallpaper individually in Windows 8, so I'll add your info to that open ticket and we'll keep you posted if/when we have more news.

Thanks!
