NOT-IDLE trigger?

I searched in several different ways, but is there a way to do a not-idle trigger in DF?
I'd like to fade my screen after X seconds of idle, but disable fading when the system is not idle anymore. Is that possible?
Also a specific
fade on/off
option instead of
toggle fade
would be helpful!

We have both of these open on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to them. We'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement either in the future.
Thanks!

Just for reference: I AM USING AN OLED screen, and this would be one more tool against burn-in...
