TitleBar Buttons showing up for Suspended ("closed") Universal apps [Fixed in 7.3 Beta 1]

this doesnt seem to be fixed for me on todays beta.

Fix: Window sizing by DisplayFusion functions in Windows 10 is much better

was this supposed to fix the image below because im still seeing issues with spacing and maybe snapping. all of the smaller windows on the right and left side or 25%x50% and the two in the middle are 50%/50%.

also you can see that skype shows the same issues when using the built in function to move to right/left side and size width by 50%.

maybe im misreading what the fix is actually for but this makes it really hard to use as a daily driver for me and all my windows. that and the virtual desktops issue. i am sympathetic to the fact you guys are in a scramble to fix things. im trying not to bitch. :D

Can you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info?

For the TitleBar Buttons thing, are they showing up when you switch virtual desktops?

Ah, the TitleBar Button ghosting on Virtual Desktops thing is still on our list. It's different than the other issue where the closed Universal apps were leaving buttons on the desktop.

Regarding the troubleshooting info, I mean this:
  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the Copy to Clipboard button
  • Open Notepad, paste the text, and save the file
  • Reply with the text file attached

Yeah, it has to do with the invisible border padding that Windows 10 puts on the windows. We just need to find a way to reliably compensate for those invisible borders :)

i think this is fixed for me now with beta3. just to be clear, we will have a 1 pixel transparency between all windows now for win10 right? that doesnt bother me at all as long as we can snap and align them properly. just posting a pic of the pixel border im talking about.

Some windows will have a small border, and some won't. It can depend on your font scaling settings, and whether the application is DPI-aware as well. :)

ah ok. ive never messed with any of the font scaling or DPI stuff before. so far everything ive looked at has the 1 pixel spacing between windows. no biggie at all really.

Can you verify if this is still an issue in 7.3 Beta 4?

if you are talking about the 1 pixel between windows then ya i still have that issue on beta4. i thought it was just the way win10 app borders were?

Ah yeah, I've just tested it here. It's about as close as it's going to get, unfortunately. We had to do some tricky stuff to try and compensate for the invisible window borders in Windows 10, and this is as close as we could get it while keeping it reliable.
