The latest versions of DisplayFusion will take care of neutralizing the nVidia processes when needed, you shouldn't need to do any renaming manually. The nVidia processes do cause many problems with DisplayFusion's hooks, so we built-in the ability to "fix" it automatically.
I can get my pc to control everything back with nvidia surround. It use to snap apps to a given monitor but after Display Fusion took over I can not turn it back on.
If you exit DisplayFusion, does that functionality come back?

It doesn't. I tried exiting DisplayFusion, resrarting without loading DF, toogling windows snap features and so on. Next step is reinstalling nvidia drivers.
