Hi All,
is there a way to set Display Fusion taskbars to hidden at all times – unless I press the Windows-key (or any other) key? DF-Taskbars should remain hidden when app notifications force the native taskbar to show.
I only need the Taskbar – not the Start-Menu which by default also shows when pressing the Windows key.
Does anyone know a way to forbid Windows to show the native Taskbar, when some Messenger has News or E-Mails come in?

Hello,

I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, Owen, and for adding this to the wish list! I have edited the misleading words in my original post.

Is there maybe already today a fix for the following? The native Taskbar on Screen 1 is set to Autohide, DF-toolbars on screen 2 and 3 also have this setting applied.

Some App notification forces the main Taskbar to show (annoying – but I have not yet found a way to turn this off altogether). Hence, I give screen 1 focus, check the blocking message and the native taskbar disappears again. DF-Taskbars, however, stay up. I then usually have to restart DF, to set auxiliary taskbars back to hidden state.

Is there a way to at least decouple DF Taskbars from the Windows taskbar? DF-Taskbars (for the trigger that ends the hidden state) seem to inherit what the main toolbar does. A small message on screen one, however, is no reason to also show Taskbars on additional screens.

If someone could tell me what to do, so that the native Taskbar remains hidden (regardless of app messages) my problem was solved too. If the native TB stays hidden, the plugin TBs remain hidden as well.

Do you have your auto hide on the DisplayFusion taskbars set to "Enabled" or "Enabled, shown with the Windows taskbar"?

Thanks!
