Inspired by the new Windows 11 snap layouts, which are a good idea but don't work with most applications yet, here's feature I always wanted to have in DisplayFusion and I was afraid to ask for! :D
I would like to be able to split my screen like in the attached picture but at the same time, I would like to be able to dock a windows in the center, like it's possible with windows snap layouts (see 2nd attachment).

Hello,

I'm not too sure if I understand what you're looking to do. Are you wanting to split your monitor into two sections but still have it dock a window in the center? Is there anything wrong with creating 3 splits?

Thanks!

I want to be able to dock a window either in the middle of the screen, leaving 25% free left and right, or on the right of the screen, leaving 40% free on the left. i.e. having overlapping areas available.

Hello,

I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.

Thanks!

Yes please. Working on a super ultrawide monitor this would be game changing.

This is something supported with the FancyZones feature of Microsoft PowerToys.
I found it to be a bit buggy though. I would love to finally see this feature in DisplayFusion!
