I've just started experimenting with video wallpapers. But it's eating resources even when I can't see it

I found the option to "Pause wallpaper changes while a full screen application is running." but it doesn't seem to stop the video decoding based on Task Manager.

Is this an oversight?

Also, would i be able to apply this on a per-monitor basis or apply to both if anything is fullscreen on either monitor?

We have a feature request open to add an option to stop video playback entirely when a fullscreen app is running, so I've added your vote to it.

I've also added the Pause wallpaper setting to be a per monitor option to our feature request list.

Thanks!
