I installed DF a couple of weeks ago to try out on my three-monitor setup but it seemed to slow down my system. Sometimes typing was laggy, switching windows seemed paused. So I uninstalled the trial version and performance returned to normal.

I've reinstalled DF and again the performance issues have returned.

Are there known incompatibilites that could be causing this? How can I troubleshoot the issue?
