Hi,
I'd like to put my putty window in normal size in the bottom right corner of my display using a shortcut. This neither works on display a nor b : it will always be positioned in the bottom left corner. Interestingly, other applications can be moved to the desired corner. Could you please explain what the reason is and whether there exists a workaround?

UPDATE:
to be a bit more concise: when trying to move the window to the desired corner, it only blinks shortly as if the application has moved it but afterwards, the window is moved to another window.

Could someone please give feedback whether they experience this too?

I have tried this with Putty 0.60 in Windows 7 RTM and it works fine for me. I would give DisplayFusion 3.1.x a try, as it has improved window management support. Thanks!

Even with the latest Version of DF this strange behaviour exists :-(

My Setup:
Windows XP Professional,
Putty 0.60
Display Fusion v3.1.2

Shall I email you the diagnosis-file from DF?

DisplayFusion takes care of a few window placement issues, as well as fixing the TitleBar Button window placement for the PuTTY windows. Can you follow-up again once 3.1.3 is released? It should be out this week. Thanks! :)

Sadly, the problem still persists with v3.1.3. Can I do anything to help solving this issue?

Can you post a screenshot of your custom hotkey's settings so I can replicate it here?

This version works fine! Thanks for fixing!!

A little note:
while positioning the window it looks a bit strange as DF seems to expand the putty window or move it somewhere else before it ends on the desired location. Is it possible to suppress this?

According to it's window's properties, the Putty window is resizeable. However, it doesn't allow outside programs to resize it. So, DisplayFusion tries to move and size it, and the move works but the size fails. Then DisplayFusion realizes this and moves it without resizing. Unfortunately, DisplayFusion can't detect this ahead of time and has to do the move twice. This is why it looks a bit "jumpy", and will stay like that until I can work out a better way to handle this. Functionality over appearance for now, I suppose. :)

I am absolutely with you about "appearance follows functionality". It's great that you could fix the problem. I don't know whether it is related to this fix but, for me, moving maximized windows from one screen to the other doesn't work as expected anymore. The application window will be move to the other screen and back to the original screen directly. Could you please look into this issue?

Which application are you having problems with, and version of Windows are you using?

Actually it happens with nearly every application that is maximized, e.g. Opera.
My OS is Windows XP 2002 SP 3
