I just got a new 4K Dell monitor. So I now have one HD (1920x1200) and one 4K (3840x2160) monitor. All appears to be working fine - EXCEPT the Display Fusion taskbar settings.

When I move a window to the secondary HD monitor (which is running the DF taskbar), the size of the taskbar item blows up - much larger than the other settings. When I turn off the DF taskbar and just use Windows taskbars on all monitors (which for other reasons is not as good as the DF taskbar I have gotten used to) the size of the taskbar item reduces back to "normal."

You can see what this looks like from three screen shots:

1. Is the taskbar item on the secondary monitor using DF taskbar (notice the cut off of the text).
2. Is the taskbar item on the primary monitor using both DF and Windows taskbars (they are the same)
3. Is the taskbar item on the secondary monitor using the Windows taskbar (notice it is the same as #2) and is "smaller" and fits more text.

Any idea of how to fix this so I can continue using the DF taskbar setup?

We're working on fixing these multi-DPI issues with the upcoming 9.0 release, stay tuned for Beta 1 next week. :)

No exact date for release yet, but some time soon. This issue unfortunately won't make it into Beta 1 though. We will be sure to let you know as soon as it's all fixed up in a later beta.

Thanks!

The 9.0 release notes mention DPI scaling fixes. I assume that this issue will make it into one of the 9.0 beta builds?

I don't have a specific ETA on it yet, no. Sorry!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
