Hello there guys, I've not been using DF for long and seem to be running into constant crashing issues. I can't really replicate it but it's crashed mostly google chrome, and steam.

I have the steam version of DF if that matters. Edit: Also on Windows 11

I've attached my log file (minimal logging), events I know of:

21:40-21:42 Chrome/Steam crashes
21:45-21:46~ Complete lockup (restart required).

i had it attached in the first post it was just protected. ive unrpotected it now. let me know if that works

Update: I think or at least haven't had it occur again yet. I think my AV/FW was causing a memory leak. I've added DF to the exlclusions and it seems to be fine now (Touch wood). (I'm on BitDefnder for anyone else with similar issues).

Sadly the issue isn't fixed. It seems worse than before now. When playing games for example I'm getting huges fps drop (175>low 20's) for a few seconds till it stables back out. I'm not at the PC at the moment but I'll get another log up when it does it again.

Hey Owen, I'm sorry I forgot to update.

I believe it was down to a corrupt windows installation (I recently reformatted before purchasing DF).

I've reformatted again and haven't had the issue since. (I do get some flickering with video playback still but it comes back pretty quick. Netflix, youtube etc).
