Hi,

While setting up Taskbar Shortcuts in Display Fusion, I noticed a couple of inconsistencies:

1. When adding a file; I tried shortcut and text document; it was not possible to set Force Monitor. This was on option for both applications and folders.

2. The icons that were setup were very widely spaced - see attached screen shots

Am I missing something or do these enhancements?

Is it possible to duplicate Shortcut from the main display?
Will DF support two rows of icons like Windows?

Many thanks,
John

Unfortunately it's not possible to force a file shortcut to a specific monitor using the taskbar shortcut. We may be able to write a scripted function that opens a file and moves it to a specific monitor though. I'll investigate this and keep you posted on what I find out :)

Hi, sorry about the slow response - holiday season, what a joy!

Thanx for the response regarding the file shortcut, I have worked around it by putting the appropriate EXE in front. I just hoped they may be easier (read I'm lazy) answer.

However, I also raised the question about the icons in the Taskbar Shortcuts:
1. They are very widely spaced and
2. They are all on one row

On the main monitor there are close together and I can make them spread across two rows - see the earlier attachments.

I have sixteen items in the Shortcuts and this occupies most of the top row of the Taskbar.

Ah sorry, I totally forgot to respond to that part of your question! The issue there is that on the Windows taskbar you're using the Quick Launch toolbar, which DisplayFusion doesn't currently support. It is on our list though, and if we're able to add it in a future version, we'll be sure to let you know :)

Thanks!
