Is it possible to get my wallpaper to re-fit itself to my screen when my computer experiences a change in resolution?

I'm often going back and forth between my docking station with two monitors, my laptop screen, and various projectors. Each of these has a different resolution, and I end up with my wallpaper tiled or something weird like that.

It would be great if the application would automatically fit the wallpaper when the resolution changes. Is that possible, currently? If not, could it be added in the future?
