Is it possible to have auto dim inactive monitor and option hotkey to exclude some monitors?

For example, if I have 3 monitors. 1 playing movie (with temp no dim mode) while the other main screen running works. 3rd screen not required but can be dimmed if the mouse is not active on the 3rd screen.

So I won't have a full brightness of screen blaring at my view.

I think Synergy has this function, it dims the monitor when your mouse is on another screen.

This is currently on our feature request list as well, so I've added your vote. We'll definitely let you know if/when we're able to implement it :)

Thanks!

Yes with event fire when active window changes and heck dim or fully sleep monitors that do not host active window then becomes relatively easy! Any ETA on the API changes? I'm super anxious to test them!

This functionality is now available using a Scripted Function. We've written an example one for you. Here's how to set it up:
  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Functions tab, click the "Download Scripted" button
  • Double-click the script named "Dim All Monitors Except Primary"
  • Give it a key combination and click OK
  • Optionally, select it, click "Toggle TitleBar Button" (to add it to the caption bar of every application)
  • Click Apply and test it out

Thanks!

Also, Function Triggers are available in DF 8.0 Beta 1 (Settings > Triggers) :)
