Root Drive Shortcut Broke in 4.1.0 beta 6

I have several drive shortcuts on my taskbar. Going to C:\ or L:\ doesn't bring up the file manager window.

C:\Users works.

Looking at the log, I see this:

Yikes! Looks like the taskbar shortcuts are more or less broken in Beta 6

We'll check this out ASAP, and we'll have it fixed up for Beta 7.

Looks like pretty much any taskbar shortcuts are broken. We've pulled B6 for now, and B5 is posted back on the site if you need to reinstall it. We'll hopefully have B7 out soon.

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry to say, but it still seems broken in 4.1.0 beta 7. (Tested on my home machine this time)

I create a shortcut to C:\ and it never comes up.

Indeed! Looks like that is a different issue than what we had with the rest of the shortcuts in B6. We'll have another look at this and hopefully have it fixed up for B8.

I'll keep you posted on what we find out.
