This happens randomly but once it does it keeps doing it have to reset computer to fix although this seems to only work for 3-5 hours as before it Hangs up (i can tell it hangs as the clock in taskbar stops) and then when clicked on it gives me the message application has stopped working and i end up closing the application and relaunch it for it to only work for about 5 min before same problem.

Note sometimes relaunching application works for 3-5 again but this is rare
also like i said its random so ever now and again i will not see this happen for 12+ hours but again this is rare
This happens a lot when playing a game in Full screen and Full screen windowed.

Also my specs are
i7 4770K
sli 2x Msi 970
16Gb Of ram
ssd for storage
running on windows 7 up to date with latest updates.
