Hi,

I have been using Webshots for years to display wallpaper, but recently the product has not been adaquate, as I have dual displays now. I also like your software, Display Fusion, better in virtually every respect save one, the calendar. In case you are not familiar with the feature, Webshots offers the ability to display a primary calendar in the upper right hand corner (current month) followed by the next two months in smaller form. Okay, users can customize one previous month and the next month too.

Anyways, I did not see this very nice feature with your product, but would like to have it. Is there a way either using Display Fusion to incorporate that or through your product and another product, although I tend to dislike the two product scenario.

Thoughts and thanks in advance,

Sarah M. Weinberger

Can I take it that this forum is not monitored or that my question is not taken seriously?

Hi Sarah, sorry for the delayed response. This forum is monitored and I take all suggestions seriously. My family and I are in the process of moving and I have been without internet access for almost a week now. I am in the process of trying to get caught up on these posts now but it is taking some time. For your suggestion, it sounds like it is a bit out of the scope of DisplayFusion's plan. I would suggest that you investigate something like the Yahoo Widgets or the Google Toolbar. Also, if you are using Windows Vista then you could use the Vista Sidebar. Any of these would have some sort of calendar widget might do what you are looking for.

Here's a (Tech Support Email) I sent to Webshots regarding their response to my email (30 DEC '08).....this problem still needs to fixed.

Webshots OLDER version ....doesn't have this problem with the Desktop Calendar.
According to the Webshots webpage....the NEW version download (3.1.3. 7504) and when this program is installed, the add/remove programs info on this software says "AGCM" (American Greetings Corp.) that give "their" version as 3.1.0. 7266.

Webshots Desktop Calendar......In the Options Tab....(in Webshots).....When you uncheck the box....(in Wallpaper Calendar tab)....it will NOT allow you to recheck the box to enable the desktop calendar again because the selection box is grayed out. If Webshots is aware of this problem.... when do they expect to fix the OPTIONS Folder for clicking "show calendar"? I've only been able to fix this glitch by reinstalling Webshots EVERY time. Webshots knows this is a problem but have YET to fix this issue. No phone numbers to contact them either.

Hopefully this is something they will address in a future update, it sounds like a frustrating error. :(
