How can I take a snap shot of a window when for example palettes are minimzed thus when mirroring the window I don't have all the palettes which are visible in the main window ? Currently when mirroring a window it takes a one to one mirror of the window which I don't want.

I realized there is a Mirror Selected area function which does what I want, but it would be nice if one can display mirror temporarily ?

I'm not really sure what you mean? Are you wanting to mirror a window, but be able to "pause" the mirror so that it doesn't update if you minimize the original window?

I suppose, pausing the mirror would be helpful, but also having some control over the mirror. For example, it is standard for programs to have sub-windows or however you want to call it within the program; you may want a mirror of the program but not some of the sub-windows window the program, so being able to minimize the sub-windows in the mirror could be helpful.

Ah ok, unfortunately it wouldn't be possible to do that, there isn't a way to ignore or hide certain parts of a window :(

Sorry!
