I was just wondering if it was possible to remove the 'Start' tooltip when hovering over the start button, for example:

Also, whether it's possible to set a specific color for taskbar buttons, for example (where purple is shown):

it's currently based on wallpaper background, but i'd like to be able to set it myself if possible to the colour of my choosing, as the wallpaper doesn't pick the colour accurately.

DisplayFusion can't remove the tooltip from the Start button, sorry!

For the accent colour, you can set it in Windows Settings > Personalization > Colours. Make sure that "Automatically pick an accent colour" is disabled, and if you have the "Aero Colour Mode" option enabeld on the DisplayFusion Settings > Options tab, make sure to disable that as well :)

Thanks!

I appreciate the reply and thank you! I currently use a contrast windows theme which basically emulates an attempt at a dark windows theme, so I don't have the option unfortunately to automatically pick accent color

in fact, I am not able to select any of the options there at all. I have a bit of a work around though, I first set displayfusion to base the accent color off of the current wallpaper, so i use a wallpaper that is purely of the color I want the accent to be, and then after the accent gets changed to it, I disable to option on displayfusion and go back to my original wallpaper. If there was an option to input the specific RGB of the accent color you want displayfusion to use I think that would be pretty awesome.

Ah ok, interesting! So the accent colour was only incorrect on the DisplayFusion taskbar?

Yes, exactly that!

If I set Displayfusion to use accent based off of wallpaper, for example, it turns into something like this:

with the displayfusion taskbar being on the right (purrple accent), and windows taskbar in the middle (grey accent).

If I use the workaround, I set the wallpaper to the color I want Displayfusion to set the accent to, it turns into this:

which then I set the aero color mode setting back to default (meaning off), and I am able to change the wallpaper back, and get this:

With the intended grey accent on the DisplayFusion Taskbar. I think adding a feature to be able to choose accent color manually would be very nice to have.

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version and there's now an advanced setting to set the accent colour on the DisplayFusion taskbar. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
