Hi! I've seen many applications that provide the option not to install a desktop shortcut to launch an application. I know I'd LOVE that for DisplayFusion. I use Startock Desktop Fences, and new program icons always hide behind a fence. DF is probably the application that gets updated the most, so it's the most bothersome for me having to move things around to locate the DF icon, only to delete it. Any chance you can add that option into the update installers? If so, I'd be a really happy!
When you run the installer manually it should ask if you want to add the desktop icon. Any further updates should remember that setting. If you re-run the installer and disable the desktop icon, does it still add it in future updates?

Hmm, I never noticed it! I misread/misinterpreted the Select Additional Tasks InstallShield page as asking whether the installation itself was for all users or for the current user only. Apologies for hogging your time and misreading. Thanks so much for your help!
