Hi there
There are a few custom themes out there (example: http://fav.me/d5dgh8c) Which are designed to not use the glow effect on the icons within the task bar.

The way to disable this on the standard windows taskbar is as follows:
Computer > Properties > Advanced settings > Performance > Settings: UnCheck Animations in the taskbar and Start Menu
This however has no effect on the icons in the displayfusion bar

My suggestion is that maybe you could add an option to disable the glow? Perhaps under the advanced settings as I can't imaging many people wanting to use it unless their theme is designed to work without it.

PS: Just wanted to say this software is amazing! I just switched over from your competition and I can honestly say this is the better deal. The secondary taskbar height also fixed itself in this software It's really great. I'll be purchasing the pro version when I can
