Switching between active windows of different desktops

Scenario: Suppose I have chrome opened in one monitor and word opened in another. I just finished typing something in word and then I want to switch to the other monitor to the chrome window and click ctrl-t to open up a new tab and search something. Is there a hotkey to switch between the active windows of different desktops.

preferably, I don't want to have the alt tab show all the windows, just the windows of a desktop so I'm wondering if a hotkey can do this.

This might be possible with a Scripted Function. We'll see if we can do up an example for you

I was able to put something together that should work for you. It's a script that focuses that last active window that is on a different monitor. To use it, here's what you need to do:

Open the Settings window to the 'Functions' tab, and click the 'Add Scripted' button
Paste the code in the file attached to this post into the window that pops up
Give the script a name, set up a HotKey if you want, then press 'OK' to save the script to your computer
Click 'OK' or 'Apply' in the Settings window to have your changes take effect
