Hi Jon,

v3 seems to have a new "feature", see picture. The text of DF's taskbar buttons (right one) is one pixel to low. I'm using XP Pro, Themes Service is disabled, Windows Standard Color Scheme, normal font size, font is Tahoma.

The taskbar button for TOAD is working fine except that he always claims to be inactive. I click on it, the button switches, I release the mouse, TOAD comes to front and the button switches back to normal/inactive state.

Have fun,
Carsten

Hi Carsten, thanks for the heads-up. I'll adjust the text for the next version. For TOAD, it's a strange beast. It uses a very non-standard way of managing it's application windows which makes it very difficult to work with. I will see what I can do about providing better compatibility with it, and all the other applications that use a similar window management method.

Hi Carsten, both the text alignment issue and the TOAD taskbar button issue have been fixed in version 3.0.1 (being released this week). Thanks! :)

DisplayFusion 3.0.1 has just been released and should take care of this issue. You can download the new version here:

Thanks!

Hi Jon,

the behaviour with TOAD changed but at the end it's still the same. Now the button is marked as active a little bit longer. But finally it switches back to inactive. I'm using version 9.5.0.31 (from October 25th, 2007) Version 9.7 is the latest version available. Maybe I have to ask our operations team for an update.

I tested with TOAD for Oracle 9.7 (free version), and it works well for me in Windows XP. Are you using the free version or commercial version? I wonder if something changed between 9.5 and 9.7? If you can find out how I can get an older copy of 9.5 for testing I will see what I can do about fixing this. :)
